Christmas Overflowsfeatured

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” 1 John 3:1

The depth and breadth of God’s love for us showed up in a manger over 2,000 years ago.  My prayer is that during this season and throughout the new year, each of us will overflow with the gifts that come out of that extravagant love.

May the verses below nurture and sustain all of us in 2021 as we celebrate not only our Messiah’s birth, but also his ministry, death, resurrection and promised return.

  • “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness” (Colossians 2:6-7).
  • “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13).
  • “May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you” (1 Thessalonians 3:12).

Let’s make 2021 the year in which God’s extravagant love overflows through us into a world that needs it so desperately.

Wishing you a beautiful and blessed Christmas and New Year
